The Marquette Maritime Museum's mission is to preserve and protect the maritime history of Marquette, Lake Superior and the Great Lakes and remember the exploits of our submarine veterans. We offer guided tours of the Marquette Harbor Lighthouse as well as self-guided tours of the Museum. Call ahead to reserve your spot at 906-226-2006. Please report any graffiti vandalism to the Marquette city police department. We need to preserve and protect our historical sites.

What do you think the deepest part of the Great Lakes looks like? Well, this past Saturday a Michigan Department of Natural Resources fisheries biologist joined filmmakers and Great Lakes Now for a trip to the bottom of Superior Maximus, the deepest place in Lake Superior.
