Holy smokes.

August was QUITE THE MONTH!

Total calls for help for kids not living with their biological/custodial parents as of AUGUST 31....

71.

This averages out to about 18 kids a week. Just over 2 kids a day.

We took in countless bags of gently used and new clothing donations. Thank you for taking the time to make thoughtful donations rather than just dumping drawers into bags. Most of the calls are that the kids came with nothing but what they were wearing. Having new/like-new, nice, clean, in-season, and in-style items on hand is a huge time saver for us.

We received right around $4,000 in monetary donations in August. Thank you for every penny donated!

We spent just shy of $3700 on new items (car seats, beds, cribs, mattresses, clothing, shoes, and more). Thank goodness for clearance racks and the money that was donated to cover the cost of the items.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for all the support through this crazy month!
