There is always room on our stage, and at our events, for you to shine; regardless of race, gender, religion, skill or economic status. Vision:
To further evolve and identify the ever changing needs of our youth and our community. We want to continue working collaboratively with local organizations to be a resource and a partner. When a need is identified we want to be able to provide programs that meet those needs while enriching the experiences of our youth. We will continue to strive to find resources to keep our promise to never turn away a child due to financial ability and keep our doors open to everyone.

Join us Friday, October 23rd from 7-9 PM for a night of frightening fun!

The Barn is transforming into a spooky graveyard for a Halloween night packed with music, dancing, games, prizes, and plenty of creepy fun!

Come dressed in your favorite Halloween costume or just come ready to hang out with friends and have a great time.

Join us tomorrow for our SFX Makeup workshop!!!!

Ever wonder how movies and theater make scars, bruises, creepy creatures, and gruesome gashes look so real? Now it’s your turn to learn the tricks of the trade!

Participants will get the chance to experiment with different special effects materials and techniques while learning how to create convincing effects for theater, film, and Halloween!

Open to students in 3rd grade and up.

No previous makeup or special effects experience needed. Just bring your imagination and your best monster face!

Like, comment, and share this post to get one free bingo card and join us in a little over two weeks, on Friday October 30th for Friends and Family Halloween Bingo!

Our games will vary in difficulty so bingo players of all ages can join the fun. Throughout the evening, watch out for Halloween surprises, extra chances to win, special games, and plenty of prizes! Costumes and festive Halloween spirit are encouraged!

This event is open to all ages, and families are welcome. Youth under age 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

A pizza dinner served at the event is available for purchase online prior to the event! This must be purchased ahead of time to allow for delivery in time for the event!

Join us THIS SATURDAY at the Bauer Park Fall Festival from 11 AM–4 PM! We’ll be spreading some fall sparkle with FREE hair tinsel for the community!

Want to get involved? We need volunteers!

Come help us run our table, add some sparkle, and make the festival extra special! No experience needed, and we'll provide all materials. Just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to help!

The Barn is happy to shout out Emma Kobelia, our Community Engagement & Development Coordinator and Stage Manager for this month's alumni spotlight!

During her time at The Barn, Emma worked as a summer camp counselor, eventually growing into the role of summer camp instructor, where she took on the responsibility of planning, developing, and leading camps. After graduating high school, she continued to stay connected with The Barn by hosting occasional workshops and camps over summers!

In May, Emma graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design. Now, she is thrilled to be back where it all began! Emma is especially excited to give back to the community that has played such a meaningful role in her own life! She looks forward to working alongside local families, connecting with community members, and helping create opportunities for young people to explore their creativity, discover new passions, and experience the same sense of belonging and inspiration that The Barn provided her growing up.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who joined us for our Creepy Creations Workshop this past week! We had a frightfully fun time getting creative, making spooky masterpieces, and bringing some Halloween magic to life!

We loved seeing everyone’s creepy creation ghosts, eyeball plants, and more, and we can’t wait to craft with you again soon!

We’ll be offering FREE hair tinsel to local kids and would love some extra hands to help us make the day sparkle! ✨

No experience necessary — we provide all the supplies and materials!
