CT WaveRunners Give Back

CT WaveRunners are a social running club based in Madison, CT. We welcome running enthusiasts of all ages and abilities.

Each year, we help raise awareness and funds for a chosen charity. In 2021, we are supporting the women's safety campaign. CT Waverunners is a proud 501(c)3 organization that is dedicated to giving back to our community. 100% of funds raised directly benefit local organizations. We are raising awareness for , a women's safety campaign that brings attention to the issue of cat-

calling, harassing and abusing women while running. Women deserve to feel safe doing the sport we love - no matter where we run, when we run or what we are wearing. All funds raised will benefit local organizations that help those affected by domestic violence including Women & Family Life Center, Safe Futures and New Horizons. Spring has finally Sprung! 🌺 🌼

And our monthly Pop Up Pub Run is right around the corner! Please join us on Thursday 4/16 at the Chester Post Office at 5:45 for a take off time at 6 pm. The route is roughly 4 miles through charming and scenic Chester with a few hills to add in a little challenge! Please make sure you bring water.

A reward for finishing: A show by the talented Mike and Rich Acoustic Duo at Little House Brewing from 7-8:30! Hilary Goduti was very kind to organize pizza from Otto’s for us, so we do not starve 😊🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🍕

It’s time for our monthly PopUpPub Run! Join us tomorrow at 5:45 pm at Brother Mike’s in Madison. We’ll start our run at 6pm and enjoy a picturesque 4 mile run around Madison before we meet back at Brother Mike’s for drinks and apps at 7pm. Dress warm and bring reflective gear/lights.

Happy beginning to 2026! Another great running year and another fun PopUp pub run planned for this month! We will be meeting up on Thursday 1/22 in Essex in back of the police station at 5:45 with a run start time of 6. 🏃‍♀️🎉 We will run approximately 4 miles around Essex village area and will then head over to the Black Seal for apps and cold ones🍻 please bring light gear and water! Look forward! 😊

It’s that time again! 🎄please join us for another PopupPub run in Niantic on Thursday December 18th at 6! 🏃‍♀️🎄We will meet in front of the Black Sheep restaurant at 5:45 to head out at 6. We will run approx 4 miles going towards and on the boardwalk, heading up and around McCooks and Crescent Point beach area, heading towards train underpass circling around back into town. It’s a pretty route! 🎄🎉 We will announce a cancellation for heavy rain or snow . After, we will congregate at the Black Sheep for apps and warm drinks😉🎉🍻 Please don’t forget good lighting/flash headlight gear and water. 🔦 See you soon! (Holiday light gear, and running dress up outfits encouraged!) 🎅🧑‍🎄
