We are so grateful to the Shoreline Astronomical Society for creating this wonderful opportunity for our Madison ABC scholars!

Through this special community partnership, funds are being raised to provide the ABC House with its own telescope, along with hands-on instruction and observing nights with members of the Society.

What an incredible way to spark curiosity, inspire learning and open up a whole new world for our scholars. We are continually grateful for a community that finds such meaningful ways to support them.

We’re Hiring: Madison ABC Chef

Do you love cooking and bringing people together around the table?

Madison ABC is seeking a part-time Chef to prepare nutritious, family-style dinners for our scholars and resident staff during the academic year. The evening meal is an important part of life at Madison ABC, providing an opportunity for our scholars to connect, recharge, and enjoy a home-cooked meal.

A heartfelt thank you to Chuck Lindahl Excavating for generously donating the excavation work for our recent propane line repair, saving Madison ABC a significant expense and allowing more of our resources to go directly toward supporting our Scholars.

Chuck is a proud Daniel Hand graduate who attended Hand alongside many Madison ABC Scholars, as has his children. As a lifelong member of our community, Chuck stepped up simply because he believes in our mission.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who took a spin on Lenny & Joe’s Carousel on Monday, July 20, in support of Madison ABC!

We’re especially grateful to Lenny & Joe’s for once again opening their hearts to our organization by donating the proceeds from the carousel to support our scholars. Their generosity, combined with the incredible support of our community, turned a fun summer afternoon into something truly meaningful.

To everyone who came out, took a ride, and supported Madison ABC, thank you. Every spin helped create opportunities for our scholars, and we’re so grateful to be part of a community that continues to show up for them.

Gratitude fills our hearts as we thank the First Congregational Church of Guilford, CT for hosting the Shoreline Soul Spring Concert on June 14.

Thanks to an incredible afternoon of music and community, $2,600 was raised and in an extraordinary act of generosity, the Shoreline Soul Choir donated 100% of the proceeds to Madison A Better Chance.

A heartfelt thank you to Pastor Ginger Brasher-Cunningham for opening the doors of such a beautiful and iconic venue, and to Angela Clemmons, Director of Shoreline Soul, whose passion, leadership, and generosity made this gift possible. Together, we are investing in a brighter future.

Thank you to the Madison Chamber of Commerce for inviting Madison A Better Chance to be part of Saturday’s Rising Strawberry Moon Festival!

We loved spending the afternoon meeting neighbors, connecting with fellow local organizations, and sharing the Madison ABC story. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table; we’re grateful for the thoughtful conversations, the new friendships, and your support of our scholars.

Our annual Madison ABC picnic brought together scholars, families, board members, mentors, and friends to recognize a year filled with academic achievement, personal growth, and involvement in athletics, clubs, and other extracurricular activities.

Most of all, it was a chance to enjoy time together as a community and celebrate these remarkable young people who inspire us every day.

Congratulations to our scholars on another outstanding year! We can’t wait to see what comes next!
