In the spirit of the World Cup, Vista's Kindness Craft Club colored soccer balls! Everyone had fun talking about the World Cup and discussing the teams that were playing. Members also worked on painting flower pots and were excited to see the finished birdhouses that they painted last week!

At Ventures Business Services, positivity makes a difference. Recently, team member Nick was recognized with the Ventures Business Services Power of Positivity Award for the encouragement and support he brings to those around him every day.

During a challenging delivery day, a fellow team member shared how Nick's calm and reassuring words helped ease their stress and keep things in perspective. When tensions were high, Nick simply reminded them, "Don't worry, chill out. Everything will be okay." Those words had a lasting impact and demonstrated the kind of positive attitude that makes our team stronger.

Every tray tells a story of purpose, teamwork, and impact. At Vista’s Ventures Business Services, team members Donald and Guarin take pride in assembling specialized medical supply trays that are distributed to hospitals throughout the Yale New Haven Health System. These trays play an important role in supporting healthcare professionals and helping provide critical care to patients across the region.

In this featured tray, Donald and Guarin explain how the supplies are used to help infants experiencing respiratory distress, including procedures that support a baby's ability to breathe when a lung has collapsed.

We are proud of Donald, Guarin, and the entire Ventures Business Services team for their dedication, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence.

Vista's Canterbury residents started working on their community garden! On Tuesday, they all worked together to clear the garden beds and prepare them for planting. Today they planted tomatoes, cucumbers, red peppers, yellow squash, zucchini, butternut squash, snap peas, and green beans. They hope to harvest all of the food and use it in community meals during Canterbury Cafe!

Vista members recently performed a show as part of the Puppets in Motion class! Instructor Lara Morton guided Brandon, Julia, and Linay in designing, building, and bringing to life their own personal puppets. The group then collaborated on a storyline and performed in front of students, members, and staff. Everyone's puppets looked amazing and the show was hilarious!
