The Skunkworks had a wonderful guest presenter on April 26th. Shaun Walker gave a demo of TIG welding to 21 attendees, as well as a bit of hands-on experience for some of our youth attendees.

Shaun is a welding instructor at Madison College, and has taught workshops at EAA in Oshkosh. It was a very fun and informative afternoon. We hope to have Shaun back another time.

We had a nice sized group of 21 attendees.

Here is the video of our April Chapter 93 Gathering at Middleton Morey Airport (C29) with guest speaker Jeramy Williams from American Drone. Jeramy delivered a very informative presentation on Agra-drones application, capabilities, regulations, pilot certification, and Agra-drone business models. Jeramy's presented for more than 40 minutes but unfortunately our camera decide to stop about 20 minutes into the presentation. Since the entire presentation is pack with information, we present the first 20 minutes and offer our apologies to Jeramy for this truncated version of his presentation.

Another strong turnout of attendees at our April Chapter 93 gathering to hear our own Pete Aarsvold talk about pilot best practices at Middleton Morey Airport and Jeramy Williams (American Drone) educate us about large Agra-drone operations and capacities. Unfortunately my camera decided to stop about half way into Jeramy's presentation, but I will compile the video and post the portion that did record :-(

Drones, Drones Drones!

Just a reminder that this coming Thursday evening we have two speakers for our monthly chapter gathering: Pete Aarsvold who plans to share some instructor insights /opinions regarding things pilots should and shouldn’t be doing when flying at Morey Field.

In addition will will also hear from Jeramy Williams (American Drone), a drone expert who has spoken in person to the National Transportation Safety Board in Washington DC. American Drone Company includes all things related to commercial drone activities specializing in ways to meet agricultural needs including the application of fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides.

Who wouldn't want to fly this big boy?
