YWAM’s discipleship and training programs aim to better equip Christians to serve as missionaries in a variet
y of fields. Through YWAM’s University of the Nations (UofN) programs, individuals can study in specialized areas such as science and technology, communications, the humanities or Christian ministry, picking and choosing courses tailored to a specific calling, or pursuing a degree with the UofN. In Madison, we offer Christian training, Bible studies and Bible schools, missionary training, and more on a wide variety of topics. From hour-long workshops or seminars, to a nine-month Bible school, we have programs for people from 13+. The Discipleship Training School is the entry point into joining staff with YWAM or for completing any of the hundreds of University of the Nations courses. Discipleship Training School

Evangelism:
Christ’s love inspires us to use many creative means to make His gospel understood to any audience – large or small. We use tools such as music, sports and performing arts to connect with people of all ages and develop friendships which can lead to conversations of eternal value. When working in other cultures and among people of other faiths, Christ’s message of peace is our starting point. We believe everyone has the right to hear this message and our hope is to see fellowships of believers, worshipping and following Jesus in every nation, tribe and tongue. Service & Mercy:
YWAM operates relief and development programs in over 100 countries, working among people living in desperate circumstances. YWAMers serve in areas such as agricultural assistance, health care, micro enterprise development and with women and children at risk. Their goal is to ease suffering and provide hope for those affected by poverty, disease or injustice. In Madison, we reach out to incarcerated teens and children from low-income communities, we show compassion to the homeless and bring them meals each week. We also send teams to other communities, in our nation and across the ocean, to meet their needs and show them God’s love.
