NOTE: There has been a change in FDA regulations regarding labeling. Manufacturers are now allowed to substitute ingredients due to Covid 19.

The statement reads that "the ingredient being substituted for the labeled ingredient does NOT cause any adverse health effect (including food allergens, gluten, sulfites, or other foods known to cause sensitivities in some people, for example, glutamates); "

Please be aware to check labels as usual and note that changes could be made at this time.

FARE is offering a virtual symposium called Managing Food Allergies during COVID-19 TOMORROW May 12 at 1PM Eastern

The past few weeks have reminded us how connected we are in the FARE community. While we had intended for the symposium events to be in person this year, we are excited to gather virtually! We’ll explore managing anaphylaxis during a pandemic and how to access safe foods when shelves are bare. We will also discuss COVID-19’s impact on clinical practice and drug development.
