Hospitality INC - In the Name of Christ Living the gospel of Jesus by providing safe emergency shelter for homeless men during the winter Hospitality was birthed by the hand of God in 2009.

Twenty two churches came along side this new Ministry to provide shelter for our homeless community. In 2014 Bethany Lutheran Church invited the Hospitality to “setup shop” within the church which allowed for a “permanent” residence instead of rotating from church to church every two weeks. In 2018 The Salvation Army purchased Bethany’s building and extended the same invitation to reside within th

e church. In 2020 the shelter closed its doors due to COVID-19. Now in 2022, Community Church has extended the invitation to build a permanent and larger shelter within its walls. He truly is our Jehovah-jireh, The Lord Will Provide. Read Genesis 22:13-14 for further explanation.

Huge THANK YOU to The Q Smokehouse for blessing the men at the shelter with an incredible lunch today! 🍽️

Our guests enjoyed pulled BBQ pork sandwiches, mac & cheese, chili, and chicken chowder—and every bite was truly appreciated. The smiles said it all… and you could tell how good it was because one full tray of sandwiches disappeared almost immediately! 😊

A special thank you to Dave for his kindness and willingness to serve the men at our shelter with such generosity and care. Not only did The Q Smokehouse provide a wonderful lunch today, but they’re also providing another amazing meal tomorrow. ❤️

Donations can be dropped off anytime between 6 PM and 10 PM at 1101 S Madison, Ludington, MI 49431 (please use the Third Street entrance), or contact Jason Robbins at 231-233-6286 to donate.

🍨 Ice cream makes everything better… especially community! 🍨

A huge thank-you to House of Flavors for their incredibly generous donations of ice cream to Hospitality In the Name of Christ. Our guys were all smiles—because nothing says you are cared for quite like a freezer full of ice cream.

There may or may not have been some very serious “which flavor is best” debates, a few second scoops, and a lot of joy shared over dessert. Moments like these remind our guests that they are seen, valued, and worth celebrating.

We are so grateful to House of Flavors for spreading kindness one scoop at a time. 💙🍦 Thank you for sweetening our shelter and the lives of the men we serve!

Let’s just say there are only a couple left—that’s how much they were enjoyed! This thoughtful gesture brought big smiles and a feeling of being truly remembered. Acts of kindness like this mean more than words can say. Thank you for taking such sweet care of our guests.

Our gratitude goes out to the Ludington Seventh-day Adventist Church—especially Marilyn and John Ward—and to Mary Case of Art by Mary Case Gallery & Studio.

Together, they put on a beautiful fundraiser using Mary’s incredible artistic gifts, all with the goal of supporting the men in our shelter. Because of their compassion and hard work, we received 20 waterproof backpacks filled with practical, much-needed essentials—and the guys absolutely love them.

Their generosity makes a real difference, and we are truly grateful for the care they have shown to the men at the shelter. ❤️
