The purpose of WillStrong Foundation is to honor the legacy of Will Flewelling by supporting young adults who inspire and help their communities through their kindness, their faith, and their positive attitude, especially in the face of life’s challenges. By providing resources to individuals and our communities, WillStrong Foundation strives to continue to spread Will’s message and reach to give

back to those in need. The organization will provide financial support to these individuals through fundraising events such as Soccer Tournaments, Euchre Tournaments and Big Buck Night Showcases.

We are so proud to share that Gabby Lindbloom has officially qualified for the Boston Marathon, taking place on Monday, April 20th! 🇺🇸✨

Gabby has been a supporter of the WillStrong Foundation since the very beginning—and now she’s lacing up her running shoes to support our mission in an even bigger way. So far, she has raised an incredible $1,305! 🙌

As we begin planning our 2026 WillStrong events, we want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for your incredible support throughout 2025.

Because of your generosity, the WillStrong Foundation has been able to make a truly meaningful impact in our community. This past year, we supported nine individuals and families in our local area as they courageously fight cancer, providing a total of $33,000 to help them in the ways they need it most.

In addition, we proudly awarded $6,500 in scholarships to graduating seniors from LHS. Young adults who are ready to make a positive difference in the world.

Together, we are bringing hope where it’s needed most—and reminding others they are not alone.

It’s that magical time of year ❄️🎄⭐️

Take a ride through the Ludington Area Festival of Lights at the Mason County Fairgrounds.

This year, we decorated a special Christmas tree that represents the four events that keep Will’s spirit shining — our Soccer, Pickleball, and Euchre tournaments, and Big Buck Night.

♥️♠️ What a great turnout for our 4th Annual WillStrong Charity Euchre Tournament! We are proud to share we had over 100 attendees, 26 tables of euchre players and some that came just to support the cause 👏🏻 We are so thankful for every one of you that continue to come together & support this event to help raise funds for the WillStrong Foundation! ♣️♦️

🌸 A special member of our community is fighting cancer. Amy’s wonderful friends & family held a fresh flower & bake sale at the courts and raised $3,962! 🍰💐

WillStrong Pickleball Tournament Information 9/27/25 Email:

Players- please check your email for the information below to find out bracket play times.

Dear Players,

We are so excited to welcome you to the Second Annual WillStrong Pickleball Fundraiser Tournament — and the very first one to be held outdoors at the Oriole Field Courts! Thank you so much for participating. We’ve worked hard to create brackets that reflect your requested level of play while ensuring a fair number of games. Please note: formats will vary depending on the number of teams in your bracket. See attached brackets below.

📅 Event Schedule:

8:30 AM – Courts open for warm-up
8:45 AM – National Anthem & announcements
8:55 AM – First groups meet on the courts

✅ Check-In & Play Information:

-Please arrive at least 15-20 minutes before your designated start time.
-Teams in the 9:00 AM slot may begin warming up at 8:30.
-Coin tosses will determine which team serves first.
-Each division will have a court monitor with a clipboard containing your schedule, format, and court assignments.
-Report all scores directly to your court monitor (either at the pavilion table or at your assigned courts).
-Game rules will be read by your court monitor before play for reminders and clarification. Direct any questions before playing to this designated person.
-A black ‘WillStrong’ wristband will be provided for each team. The purpose of the wristband is to be worn by the player serving first– this will help prevent any questions or mix-ups with game scores (optional to wear but recommended).

🏓 Match Formats:

1 game to 15 → Switch sides at 8 points.
1 game to 11 → Switch sides at 6 points.
2 games to 11 → Switch sides between games.
If your group has two brackets, a playoff will be held as indicated on your format sheet.
Reminder: If a line call is questionable and cannot be confirmed, the ball is considered in.

🏅 Medals & Photos:

After each division has completed play, please listen for winning teams to be called to the WillStrong banner area for medals and pictures.

🧡 About the WillStrong Foundation:

The WillStrong Foundation was created in October 2022 to honor the memory of Will Flewelling. Will loved sports, had a competitive spirit, and cherished time with family and friends. He lived with joy — and it is our hope that you bring that same joy to the courts on Saturday.

We have a full day of pickleball ahead, along with raffles and food available for a free-will donation.

Thank you for being part of this special event and for helping us celebrate Will’s legacy.
