• Conduct patient consultations, physical examinations, and treatment.
• Monitor and administer medications while maintaining patient records in NIROG (EMR system).
• Supervise and monitor the ongoing healthcare programs at the health posts
• Assess and plan treatment, referrals, and necessary diagnostic tests, and organize training sessions for staff, volunteers, and caregivers on health, nutrition, and other program-related topics.
• Oversee staff and volunteers during health and nutrition training sessions.
• Coordinate with local government (CIC/RRRC, DGHS), UN agencies, NGOs, and INGOs for healthcare service integration.
• Participate in coordination meetings with health teams, NGOs, and local authorities to ensure smooth program implementation.
• Promote health education and community engagement.
• Perform minor surgical procedures and explain treatments to patients.
• Supervise medical camps, training, and meetings.
𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
• MBBS with BMDC registration (must include BMDC number in the application).
• 1-3 years of clinical experience. (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.)
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong coordination, communication, and teamwork skills.

• Dispense prescribed medicines accurately in accordance with standard treatment guidelines and organizational protocols.
• Ensure rational use of medicines and provide appropriate counseling to patients regarding dosage, duration, storage, and possible side effects.
• Maintain proper storage, inventory management, and stock control of medicines and medical supplies, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Update and maintain pharmacy-related records and patient medication data using NIROG (EMR system).
• Monitor medicine consumption, expiry dates, buffer stock levels, and prepare regular pharmacy and stock reports.
• Coordinate with relevant partners and stakeholders to facilitate receipt of donated medicines, ensuring proper documentation, quality assurance, storage, and effective utilization as per guidelines.
• Prepare and submit monthly medicine requisitions based on camp-level consumption patterns, current stock status, and projected needs to ensure the timely supply of medicines.
• Work closely with Medical Officers, Nurses, and Health Facility In-Charge to support effective and uninterrupted healthcare service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with national regulations, humanitarian health standards, and organizational policies related to pharmacy management.
• Support medical camps, outreach activities, audits, trainings, and emergency health responses as required.

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) / Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.

Job Title: IT Assistant

Employment type: Full-time (3 months Probationary Period)

Duration of Contract : Initially 1 Year (Renewable as condition of fund availability)

Key responsibilities:

• Assist in Installation, Re-installation, Troubleshooting, and Up-gradation of Operating Systems of software In-House and stakeholders' applications;
• Advanced Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) in the Bangladesh Health Sector.
• Assist in maintaining the Organization's LAN. This includes installation, configuration, and maintenance of Active Directory, mail server, file server, proxy server, web server, etc.

A great Basic Life Support and CPR training workshop program using most advanced digital-feedback technology equipped mannequins was conducted by HAEFA in collaboration with BIMSSS at the 6th Bangladesh International Medical Students Scientific Congress. More than 40 medical students from different medical schools of Bangladesh were trained at this Workshop held on Friday October 10th at the International Mother Language Institute in Dhaka.

HAEFA has been proving this free service to Bangladeshi patients on every Thursday since September 2025. Dr. Sajia Haque is a dedicated medical professional currently serving as the National Health Coordinator at HAEFA. She completed her MBBS from Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College and has been actively involved in public health initiatives since her student years. Since 2021, she has worked closely with HAEFA, initially as an Intern Coordinator. In this role, she supported coordination between HAEFA Bangladesh and HAEFA USA and contributed to various health programs including cervical cancer screening in collaboration with UNFPA, mental health resilience and training sessions supported by Project HOPE, and non-communicable disease (NCD) screening initiatives. She is also playing a key role to manage HAEFA’s monthly newsletter as Chief-in-Editor. She is passionate about improving healthcare access for underserved populations and is committed to serving communities across both urban and remote areas of Bangladesh.
