The first of the season "Bike to Market Day" is this week, Tuesday, June 9, at the wonderful Lexington Farmers' Market -- right off the Bikeway at Fletcher Park!

The Friends of Lexington Bikeways will host its monthly bike corral: Ride your bike to the market -- anytime between 2 and 6:30 pm -- park your bike with us and receive a $2 coupon good at any Farmers' Market booth!

Talk with Friends members about getting involved with our education, advocacy and stewardship programs or just about bicycling in Lexington! Pick up a copy of the new Bike Lexington bike safety brochure, packed with info and pictures about good riding habits, safe cycling, & links to resources.
Look for the Friends of Lexington Bikeways banner, park your bike, and enjoy the market!

Minuteman Bikeway in Lexington closure update: Our town engineer wrote today: “First coat of paving is expected this week and final course at the end of May. It should be open at that point but may need a day closure for pavement marking….”

Minuteman Bikeway Closure Information: (Bow to Maple Streets). UPDATE:
During the MWRA project on the Minuteman Bikeway, the path will be closed Monday through Friday (no longer open during evening hours as originally posted). The Bikeway will be open on weekends during the project period (i.e., through the winter), at least for now… here’s the detour route from Bow Street to Maple:
