Dang - thanks for turning out last Thursday, Cordley Elementary School! This is the most raised at this Dine & Donate - and that raffle total isn't bad either. What a great way to round out the year and allow us to start in good shape next year!

On our final day of staff appreciation week, we set up a Gift Card Tree where each of our 70+ staff member we’re invited to select TWO $10 gift cards as well as a handful of coupons for free goodies!

A huge thanks to the families who donated more than $950 to these efforts, to local businesses who donated more than 80x $10 gift cards and to IHOP, Sonic Drive-In, Nothing Bundt Cakes and Cottin's Hardware & Rental for generously donating coupons for EACH STAFF MEMBER!

This year’s cream sundae party, made possible by Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers Lawrence, KS and Cordley families, was the cherry on top of an amazing Field Day!

Yesterday during lunch students had the opportunity to write notes and make cards for Cordley staff. Teachers were flooded with love when they picked up their classes. I loved watching how seriously the kids took this assignment, many creating more than one card for multiple staff members. It really shows the true impact our teachers and staff make each and every day.
