One Hundred Good Women Our Mission: 100 Good Women is a not-for-profit and non-political community of women and men who help Perhaps they don't qualify for social services.

We seek to help people who may have "fallen through the cracks". They may have an immediate or one-time need. Maybe a gas card, medication refill, new work shoes or furnishing household goods for people who are starting over after a personal complication. Clients are referred to us from other Agencies. More Good News Monday….We received this lovely note from a case manager about her client’s bed that was delivered:

Hello! I meant to email last Thursday but they got the mattress and were SO HAPPY. They got some bedding and it looks adorable! After year of homelessness and not knowing where they are sleeping, this truly means so much to them.

Thank you!!!!

Good News Monday….This has been a busy week, to top off a busy month! We’ve received several thank you notes, and each one reinforces that what we do does make a difference.

From a lady that we gave a gift card to:

This client mentioned to us that the day before she picked the gift card up, she found .51 cents on the ground and it was just enough to help her get her medication. The gift card came in very helpful as she was literally out of any means to thrive.

From a family that we paid for car repairs to get her back in the road:

Just wanted to ‘Thank You’ for helping me out with my car, once again!!!! Pat R.

From a gentleman who we bought a new bed for:
Yay God bless your organization I'm very happy for you to help me so much greatly appreciate.

Good News Monday….This week we had a client in severe pain, needing some dental work. We were able to provide some financial help with getting his tooth looked at. He writes:

“Yay God bless your organization I'm very happy for you to help me so much greatly appreciate”

UPDATE 2: It looks like we have reached our goal! We had 23 donors, and each one made a difference! Thank you all for your help. This Mama and her kids will soon be on their way. ❤️😀

UPDATE: We are an hour into having posted this, and we are over half way to our goal! This is amazing! ❤️

Today we have a rather urgent request, and while we are not an emergency organization, we would like to try to help.

There was a terrible car accident involving our client’s Father and his wife. The wife passed and the Father is trying to heal body and spirit, while planning the funeral. His daughter needs to go be with him, as he is alone several states away. She needs to drive because she has 4 little ones to take with her. Her car needs $1500 in repairs to be roadworthy.

One Hundred Good Women can provide $500 towards the repair, but we need help raising the rest. All funds will be paid, from us directly to the auto repair shop.

Good News Monday……

We have a Giving Garage we maintain that has small household items, linens, etc. Agencies refer clients to us that are starting over in homes to select items like dishes, glasses, linens, utensils….

Today, we had the most delightful woman come to pick out a few things she needed to supplement her new apartment. At usual, she was overwhelmed with the selection but had very specific requests. She chose whimsical dishes and glasses most people pass over. She “oohed and awed” over the soft sheets and cute little bath rug. It was wonderful to see her reactions and experience the joy of such simple things to some of us. And she was able to take one of the baskets of essentials that had been donated by Homefix -cleaning items, hangers, etc. She gave out hugs when she left. More than enough thanks for us.

We could not do this without your support and donations. Now, I will say, we are currently full to the brim and cannot take any more donations. Unless you have a good hand can opener or nice crock pot lying around. We will certainly let you know here when we need stuff.

Good News Monday….We are fortunate to have several food pantry locations and agencies that have scheduled meals, for those in need of nourishment. It just isn’t always enough.

The rising costs to secure food and gas for vehicles is overwhelming for many of our clients. In just over a week we have given out $1,300 in gift cards, to help bridge the gap for our clients.

It is all made possible by your support. Attending our fundraisers, membership dues, donations and your help when we need it, make all this possible!

Have you had a burning desire to volunteer for 100 Good Women? Well, now is your opportunity.

Our Community Connections Committee is looking for volunteers!

What would you do? So glad you asked. It’s so easy.

1. Join a fun filled bunch of people who work hard and play hard.

2. Commit to committee meetings held on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 5:30 at Jade Bar.

3. Help plan our Monthly Socials and FUNdraisers throughout the year. (We have some fun ideas that just need some coordination).

4. Help plan our upcoming 2026 Communnity Expo on June 28 by contacting our list of female and femme owned businesses and community agencies to participate along with helping the day of the Expo. (We are meeting more often until the Expo, so you can plan on that)
