Our SPE officers & member ran into Richard Spears, Vice President @ Spears & Associates, Inc while attending the AADE Mid-Continental Symposium at Tulsa, Oklahoma. Our students learned a lot about the drilling aspect of the oil & gas industry both domestically in the United States & Internationally.

Today marked the first SPE meeting for the year 2019-2020. Officers discussed roles for the upcoming year as well as the upcoming Fall 2019 events. The Annual Technical Conference & Exhibition (ATCE) will be held in Calgary, Canada at the end of this month, so stay tuned for emails from us!

Today at the Seniors Farewell Gathering, Ashley Soffian, our 2018-19 President along with Dr. Ostermann honored and handed certificates of completion acknowledging the 2018-19 officers of the Society of Petroleum Engineers - University of Kansas Chapter. Well done to all our officers and happy graduation!
