Chabad at KU Chabad is a warm, non-judgmental, fun, exciting, and lively place, where every Jewish student feels comfortable. At Chabad, a Jew is a Jew, period.

It is a home for every Jew, "Where Every Jew Is Family"! Chabad recognizes all Jews, regardless of affiliation, background or levels of observances. Our philosophy states that every Jew deserves an equal opportunity to experience and enjoy their heritage. Our center is directed by Rabbi Zalman & Nechama Tiechtel. Chabad is right there, 24 hours a day, seven days a week and serves as the “Home Away From Home” for every Jewhawk, for any need. Come experience Chabad and join the Family!

What an honor to host the Emuna Girls Travel Camp! They’re driving cross-country, visiting different Chabad Houses along the way, and we’re so happy they chose Chabad at KU! KU student shauny shared some inspirational words, and Nechama led an engaging discussion on teenage dilemmas 😀. The fire pit finally got some attention, the swings in the lounge got plenty of action, and every single one of our 23 beds at Chabad was put to use!!
