As the school year comes to a close, we’re reminded that student success is shaped by so many caring adults who show up every day with encouragement, leadership, and kindness. ❤

Pictured here are staff from Pineville Primary and Rocky Comfort Elementary, whose dedication helps create supportive environments where students can learn and grow.

To the educators, support staff, families, communities, and students who made this school year meaningful, thank you for all you do.

As one staff member shared, “In a world where you can be anything, be kind.”

As the school year comes to a close, Frontier School of Innovation Middle School is celebrating the students who made this year one to remember. ❤

Sixty students earned recognition as Tenacious Tigers by maintaining A’s and B’s throughout the year while demonstrating leadership and positive behavior. SparkWheel also celebrated 15 students they support directly who met their goals during a Save Your Grades celebration.

To wrap up the year, 86 students were recognized during 8th grade promotion, where SparkWheel provided farewell gifts and their final fruit snacks.

We’re proud of all these students for the growth, hard work, and determination they showed this year and excited to see what comes next.

As the school year comes to a close, schools across our network are celebrating the moments that make student support meaningful.

Craig Toombs, Student Support Coordinator for grades 10–12 at Crossroads Preparatory Academy, recently helped chaperone a high school zoo field trip, giving students the opportunity to step away from the classroom, connect with peers, and simply enjoy being kids.

“It was great to support students getting out of the building and just being kids.”

Experiences like these help strengthen relationships, build connection, and support student well-being both inside and outside the classroom. 🐆

A trip to the zoo and a step toward what comes next. ❤

As part of the SparkWheel Moving Up Mentoring Program, Rachel Eden and Winter Moore recently brought Fort Scott middle and high school students together for an end of the school year visit to the Kansas City Zoo. Fort Scott Middle School students had the opportunity to connect with trained, SparkWheel-supported Fort Scott High School mentors and begin building relationships before they start high school next year.

The Moving Up Mentoring Program helps students navigate the transition to high school through mentorship, relationship-building, academic readiness, and life skills development.

This work is supported through the Partnerships for Student Success initiative, and SparkWheel is proud to have been selected among more than 700 applicants nationwide to receive support through this opportunity. Through generous funding from the Leon Lowenstein Foundation, SparkWheel will continue expanding evidence-based student supports that strengthen confidence, connection, and long-term student success.

It takes community to support student success.

We’re grateful to have been able to collaborate with Ross Elementary: Signature Music School to host this event. A time where families connected with local resources, organizations, and support systems all in one place.

Moments like these strengthen schools, families, and communities together. ❤️

✨ SparkLead: Student Leadership Conference ✨

SparkWheel recently hosted SparkLead, a full-day leadership experience designed to help students discover their strengths, connect with peers, and grow into the leaders they are becoming.

Students participated in hands-on workshops, meaningful conversations, and opportunities to build real connections with one another. Attendees left with new tools, fresh perspectives, and inspiration to keep growing.

Special thanks to Nikki Smith, Chad Kincade, Carlos Kelly, Nate Wallace, Leslie Harmon, Cheyenne Carmona, and Michael Williams, for helping bring this experience to life, and to Omni Circle Group for providing the space to host such a meaningful event. Another special thanks to One Love BBQ for donating lunch to this event! ❤
