Tomorrow is 8/29, and it just so happens that our stadium namesake John Smoltz wore #29 and was an 8-time All-Star! So starting today and throughout this weekend, we’re asking YOU to donate $8 in honor of #29, and help keep the Strikeout Baseball momentum going.

Every $8 gift helps support free youth clinics, local programming, equipment, stadium care, outreach, and more opportunities for Lansing kids to learn the game, build confidence, and fall in love with baseball.

🎉 Congratulations to Kyzer and his mom, who won one of our Lansing Lugnuts ticket vouchers at yesterday’s Community Celebration! They’ll be heading to a Lansing Lugnuts game during the 2027 season with four tickets to enjoy together.

And while the celebration may be over, our fundraiser isn’t!

We’ll be continuing to raise funds throughout the week, and we need your help to keep the momentum going. We’re officially more than halfway to our goal, but there’s still work to do, and every single donation gets us closer.
