WLEW is on their way to the lighthouse for the first international broadcast from an offshore lighthouse in history! How AWESOME is that to have them announce the relighting of the light- the first time since 1942 a 4th order fresnel lens will cast its beautiful beam far and wide! Rumor has it they will also be the first radio broadcast crew to sleep at the lighthouse too!
