Hi Folks! Do you wish you could get paid for helping with our garden? This position may be for you! Right now, Lansing First Presbyterian Church is hiring for an AmeriCorps position we will share with our friends at the NorthWest Initiative. This member would serve the communities in many ways, including coming up with garden events, activities, and workshops!

Mary Mary, quite contrary how does your garden grow? QUITE WELL!!! 😀 We have lots of growth from tomatoes to peppers to chives and spinach! Well done, gardeners! The beds are looking lush and bountiful! 🥬 🍅 🥕 🪴

Gardeners! Our parking lot is new, flawless and OPEN now! Access to the garden is open at all entrances. 🙂

Grow-A-Row distribution happening again Today (5/6) and tomorrow (5/7) from 10am-1pm. Come by and pickup free plants/seeds! Today we have tomato plants and cucumber seeds!

We also have applications for our Garden-In-A-Box kits- Every year we distribute FREE 2’x2’ raised bed kits with everything you need to start a small subsistence garden (garden box, soil, plants/seeds) to low-income Eastside Neighbors. This year we have ten total kits to distribute, and still have several open spaces!

We're getting a shiny new parking lot! Construction began this week and will last through the month of May. Parking is available along Chestnut Street and Pine Street in the meantime.

The excavation of the old parking lot started today with heavy equipment digging up the old pavement and huge trucks hauling it away.

Garden bed rentals are just $15 per year for your own garden bed and you keep the produce that you grow!
