Some background on Masaki, Internet Personality, for our event on November 7th!
https://www.instagram.com/masaki.lv/

Masaki Nakagawa was born in Kobe, Japan. One of his professors, having recognized his musical talent, invited Masaki to accompany him to Jelgava in 2014, where the professor served as a visiting lecturer at the university. That is how Masaki’s deep respect and love for Latvian music and culture began.

Masaki plays the guitar and sings, performing both his own original compositions and popular songs by other artists while sharing stories about his experiences in Latvia. He is a unique individual who enjoys sharing his music in multiple languages, as well as his personal journey as a Japanese person living in Latvia. Although Masaki has visited the United States several times, this will be his first visit to us here in Colorado. Let’s welcome him with some Colorado-style snacks and enjoy his songs and stories about his adventures in our beloved Latvia!
