Last weekend, the Valley District hosted over 60 Cub Scouts for a memorable Day Camp filled with adventure, learning, and fun!

With the theme “Dino-Topia” Scouts explored their creativity through hands-on activities, hikes, and stations run by Colorado Adventure Point and the CU Museum of Natural History.

A big thank you to all the volunteers and leaders who made it happen. We couldn’t have done it without you!

We had a great District Dinner last night, including a Wood Badge beading ceremony and recognition of the incredible volunteers and youth leaders who make Scouting possible.

Congratulations! Boy Scout Troop 337 Broomfield Colorado

The paperwork has been signed; Scouting Colorado Troop 337 is converting to a Family Troop.

A Family Troop is a single Scouting America unit that serves both male and female youth members under one charter and leadership structure. Formally introduced on December 15, 2025, this model provides a third organizational option alongside traditional all-male and all-female based troops.

The Camp Card sale is a great, risk-free way to raise money for your Scouts to attend summer camp! You can earn up to 50% commission on each sale, and as long as the unsold cards are returned to Council in the specified time frame, there is no risk to your Unit.
