LINC Athletics is throwing punches and breaking barriers! 🥊

Recently, Morning Star Center - LINC Caring Communities hosted an introductory kickboxing course for women. Participants walked away with practical self-defense skills and real guidance on building healthy, sustainable habits, including regular movement and better eating.

LINC’s Athletics program believes sports and fitness should be accessible to everyone in the community. When they are, people feel stronger, safer, and more confident in their daily lives. Keep an eye out for more programming like this coming to Morning Star!

This is your last chance! ⏰

Today is the last day to register to vote in Missouri, and LINC has been all over Kansas City making sure every eligible voter has the chance to make their voice heard. Our Caring Communities Site Coordinators talked with families at pickup. Our Workforce Initiatives and Youth Services teams wove registration into everyday conversations. And our Community Engagement staff set up tables at community events and in our schools.

The highlight? Ruskin High School, where more than 90 seniors registered and signed up to join LINC at the polls on Election Day. Check out the video! 🎥
