Gilda's Club Kansas City provides free cancer education, support, resources/referrals, and community for anyone living with cancer, as well as their families and friends of all ages. Since October 2011, Kansas City has had this unique community where you can come and be with others who can relate to what you’re going through. Inspired by Saturday Night Live comedian, Gilda Radner, Gilda’s Club pro
vides a welcoming space where all who are touched by cancer--all types of cancer--any kind--at any stage--and any relationship to cancer-- gather to support one another. While you won't find medical treatment here, Gilda’s Club is where you, your family, and your friends, will find reliable cancer education, emotional and social support, and resources/referrals as a supplement to medical care. In addition to in-person support through Gilda's Club Kansas City, people impacted by cancer in the Greater Kansas City area can also access support online. The Cancer Support Community provides an Online Community to bring the experience of the local Wellness Community or Gilda's Club to you through the Internet 24 x 7.
