TEDxCrossroads

TEDxCrossroads TEDxCrossroads Salon has shuttered its doors... it's been a wonderful trip, but time to move on to other things. We were a weekly, hour long TEDx salon.

Thanks always to PT's Crossroads Coffeehouse for hosting us over the years! Now closed, TEDxCrossroads (where x=independently organized TED event) was a community based on the shared interest of sharing our interests in KC from 2011-2017. Our focus was conversation-- the community exchange that happens after watching a TEDtalk. Our format is simple: watch one 20 min recorded talk, have a 40 minute conversation.

And... it's a wrap. Thank you all for your years in making the TEDxCrossroads salon such a wonderful community! And thanks as ever to PT's at the Crossroads for hosting us for so long. We appreciate you and your team, Jeff Taylor! (We'll still be coming by for coffee and quiche some days anyway ;). )

Ironic that words written in the 1300s stand the test of time and have not themselves come to an end...

TEDxCrossroads' 6 year run in KC is coming to an end this Monday 6/12 at PT's at the Crossroads. We are forever indebted to PT's for providing us a home, and forever grateful to the community that comprises our ragtag group of friends, old and new.

Please do come to the final TEDxCrossroads salon from 6-7p this coming Monday. Hugs all around!

Tickets to TEDxKC 2017, set for Aug. 18 at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, go on sale at 10 a.m. June 20 and are expected to sell out.
