Founded in 2014 by USMC Iraqi veteran and former Lyric Opera of Kansas City chorus member Richard Gibson, lead by associate conductor Brian Steele, in conjunction with the 2014 Lyric Opera production of Silent Night and the 100 year Commemoration of the WWI Christmas Truce, Lyric Opera brought together a chorus of veterans who love to sing and singers who love veterans.
