KC Brick Lab is all set up and ready for public days here at Brickworld Chicago

We have 5 members attending this year and we're fortunate to be able to share space at the convention with our other Missouri LUGs - Gateway LUG in St. Louis and Springfield LUG out of Springfield, MO.

We have all already had a great time during set up days and are looking forward to sharing our love of LEGO bricks with the public. If you are in the Schaumburg area come by today or tomorrow and say hi.

Welcome to Kansas City, Oranje & The Three Lions! 🧡🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿⚽️The Soccer Capital of America is officially buzzing! We are thrilled to welcome both the Netherlands Men's National Soccer Team and the England Men's National Soccer Team to the metro area. Both teams have officially arrived and settled into their base camps for the summer tournament.

The Netherlands: The Dutch squad is staying at the luxury Cascade Hotel in the historic Country Club Plaza (Kansas City, MO) and training at the state-of-the-art KC Current Training Facility in Riverside.

England: The Three Lions have taken over the entire 54-room, boutique Inn at Meadowbrook in Prairie Village, KS. Coach Thomas Tuchel and his squad are utilizing Swope Soccer Village in KCMO as their official training headquarters.

The Netherlands first match resulted in a 2-2 draw with Japan and England faces Croatia on 17 June.

🧱 Catch Soccer Fever at Union Station! While you are out celebrating the global game, make sure to head down to historic Union Station Kansas City! The talented builders at KC Brick Lab have caught soccer fever and constructed a massive, custom LEGO minifigure-scale soccer stadium. It features representations of all 48 qualifying tournament nations and is completely free to view all summer long. You can find this incredible layout set up inside the model train area right at the end of the Great Hall!

Welcome to Kansas City, Oranje! 🧡⚽️🇺🇸The Soccer Capital of America is officially turning orange! We are absolutely thrilled to welcome the Netherlands Men's National Soccer Team to Kansas City as they set up their official base camp for the upcoming global tournament. The squad has landed, and the energy in the city is already electric!

The Netherlands team is staying at the KC Current Training facility in Riverside, MO and has been welcomed in by the city of Riverside with open arms!

🧱 KC Brick Lab Joins the Soccer Fever! Local fans are celebrating the arrival in creative ways, too! KC Brick Lab has caught soccer fever and built an incredible, custom LEGO minifigure-scale soccer stadium. The display is completely free to view at Union Station! You can find it set up right inside the model train area located at the end of the Great Hall. Stop by to see the intricate brick details and find your favorite minifigure fans in the stands!

Be on the lookout for the fan bus, a large orange double decker that has made its way from Netherlands to the United States and will be at each team match.

Welcome to the Heart of America, Algeria! 🇩🇿✈️

The Kansas City region is thrilled to officially greet Les Fennecs (The Desert Foxes) as they touch down for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. From the bright green and red lights decorating Union Station to the local pitches, the entire metro area is ready to show them legendary Midwestern hospitality. Follow their official journey on Instagram via the Algerian Football Federation ().

📍 Where They Are Training
The Algerian national team has established its official World Cup base camp just a short drive down the road at Rock Chalk Park in Lawrence, Kansas.

🗓️ Kansas City Match Schedule
Algeria is set to play two massive group-stage matches at Kansas City Stadium (Arrowhead Stadium):
• Tuesday, June 16 at 8:00 PM CT vs. defending champions Argentina 🇦🇷
• Saturday, June 27 at 9:00 PM CT vs. Austria 🇦🇹

Local builders from the KC Brick Lab have filled the display cases with amazing original creations. You will see things you can't buy in any store, including:
