Due to severe weather in the forecast, the Hyde Park Farmers Market originally scheduled for this Sunday, June 21 is postponed to Sunday, June 28.

Did you know the KC Library will pop by Gillham Park this summer? They will be stopping by on Tuesdays to provide summer learning resources for families, connect people with services, offer fun kids’ activities, and more. Stop by and receive a FREE BOOK!

HPNA will be sponsoring dumpsters again on Saturday, June 27 at 41st and Gillham (one location only this time). There will be two dumpsters, one for general waste and one for leaf/brush. Dumpsters are reserved for HPNA members from around 8am to 10am. After 10am, non-members can pay $10 per load. Dumping allowed until dumpsters fill up or 12pm.

This event is CASHLESS! Volunteers will have QR codes at each location to collect fees digitally via our website.

The next Hyde Park Farmers Market is this Sunday, May 31 from 8:30 AM–1 PM at Gillham Park (next to the playground & splash pad)! There will be 60 different vendors selling fresh produce, coffee, baked goods, ceramics, jewelry, local art, and more!

Plus: bring the kids for an all-ages Storytime with local librarian Ms. Grace from 10:00–10:30 AM at the playground!

And mark your calendars for the rest of the Farmers Markets as well (same time and place):

Calling all Hyde Park families! Join us Wednesday, June 10 at 6 PM at the Gillham Park playground for our annual Bubble Party! HPNA and the Hyde Park Playgroup are teaming up with KC Bubble Company for an evening full of giant bubbles, popsicles, yard games, and splash pad fun. ☀️🍭💦

Bring the kids, invite the neighbors, and kick off summer with us. We’ll see you there!

🛍️ Mark your calendars! The Annual Hyde Park Yard Sale returns the 2nd Saturday in June! With 50+ yard sales across the neighborhood, it’s one of Hyde Park’s favorite traditions. Come treasure hunt through historic 100+ year old homes and shop sales from 31st to 47th Street, Gillham to Troost. ✨

And don’t forget the kiddos — stop by 41st & Kenwood for face painting! 🎨
