It's International Stop Food Waste Day! A global day of action to help spread awareness, reduce waste, increase access to healthy food and protect the planet.

33% of all food produced globally is wasted. That translates to about $1.3 trillion worth of food each year. If that food waste was a country, it would be the 3rd largest emitter of greenhouse gas.

If just 25% of that wasted food was saved, it could help feed 870 million people. And prevent millions of tons of greenhouse gas from entering the atmosphere.

What can you do to stop food waste?

🥕 Donate any food you won't use before it expires
