CELEBRATING OUR LEGACY ON INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY DURING WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH!

In celebration of International Women’s Day, Fashion Group International was founded by 17 accomplished women in 1930, at a time when women were underrepresented across all industries as executives.

Charter members include Eleanor Roosevelt, editors-in-chief Edna Wollman Chase of Vogue and Carmel Snow of Harper’s Bazaar, costume designer Edith Head, American sportswear designer Claire McCardell, cosmetics entrepreneurs Elizabeth Arden and Helena Rubenstein and more.
