KCFEC is stocked with reading glasses!

Thank you so much to .to.heart.international and RestoringVision for their generous donation! One of our most requested items is reading glasses and we have been low. Thanks to this incredible donation, KCFEC will be well-stocked for months!

This program is supported with near-vision eyeglasses provided by RestoringVision and HHI.

Choice is a key part of KCFEC's clinics.

Patients have a wide variety of frame options to choose from at our physical clinic and our mobile events. Not only does this add dignity to our process for everyone, it also allows our youngest patients to take an active part in their healthcare and hopefully increases the likelihood they will wear their glasses.

KCFEC is lucky to receive frame donations from so many great supporters! If you have frames you are looking to donate, KCFEC is happy to give them a second life!

We are so excited and could not do this without our incredible volunteers and donors! The future of Kansas City is clear and bright! 😎

KCFEC is so excited to announce Gibron Vang as our 2026 Steve Sutherlin All-In Volunteer Award winner!

Gibron began volunteering with KCFEC last year and quickly became one of our most consistent volunteers. Gibron has joined us at schools, our physical clinic and community events. Gibron's dedication to helping others shines through each clinic; in August, Gibron stayed two hours over to help order glasses for everyone at our Kansas City Public Library clinic.

Gibron is currently at optometry school and we are so excited to see him join the world of vision care professionally! Congratulations, Gibron! We cannot wait to see the incredible things you will do and the kindness you will treat everyone with!
