Have you checked out Kinship Cafe ? They are a black-owned, community based coffee shop in Independence! They showcase artists and have some amazing pop-ups and weekend events! Their coffee gets Trisha's presidential stamp of approval.

If you are an author or artist, you should definitely chat with them about future events and signings!
