We’re accepting placements for the November 2026 Midwest Book Beat catalog, featuring authors, independent bookstores, bookish businesses, and literary organizations.

Choose the space that fits your story:

• Basic listing: $25, or free for $5 Community Members
• Enhanced listing: $50, or $25 for Community Members
• Ads: Quarter-page, half-page, full-page, and larger placements are available
• Partner Members: A complimentary full-page ad is included with an active $20/month membership

Meet the authors of Midwest Book Beat at Liberty Fall Festival!

We’ll be in downtown Liberty all weekend with a rotating lineup of Midwest authors and a whole lot of books waiting to find their next reader.

📅 September 25–27

Stop by to meet the authors, get your books signed, discover a new favorite, and support the independent writers creating stories right here in our community.

Friday: 11 AM–9 PM
Saturday: 9 AM–9 PM
Sunday: 12–4 PM

Save the schedule so you know when your favorite author will be there, or come by all three days. We fully support acquiring an unreasonable number of books.

What can you expect from KC Book Beat at the Liberty Fall Festival?

We'll have two adjoining booths in historic downtown Liberty:

One for children's, middle grade, and YA books
One for adult readers

Local independent authors will be on hand all weekend, ready to talk about their books and sign copies.
