There’s attending Vantage events. And then there’s becoming part of what God is building through Vantage.

Our Kingdom Partners Luncheons are smaller gatherings for people who want to come a little closer to the mission, hear more about the vision, connect with the people behind it, and discover how they can help move it forward.

We’re grateful for everyone who joined us around the table this week.

As Vantage continues to grow, so does the community of people helping make that growth possible.

Trust changes the conversation.

When leaders know they are in a trusted environment, conversations can move beyond:

"How's business?" and toward the things they're actually navigating.

Leadership challenges.
Difficult decisions.
Faith.
Relationships.
Successes.
Failures.
Questions.
Prayer.

One Women's Forum participant described building that trust as her biggest takeaway from joining her Forum.

That doesn't happen instantly. It's built over time as leaders consistently show up for one another.

This is the kind of Christ-centered community we're working to cultivate through every Vantage Professional Forum.

Early in business, a lot of problems can be solved by simply working harder.

Make more calls.
Stay later.
Sell another truck.
Push a little harder.

But as the business grows, the problems grow with it.

At our recent Vantage Leadership Lunch, James Wessel, CEO of Brindlee Fire Services, shared a realization that changed the way he approaches leadership:

“I can’t outwork a problem anymore.”

There comes a point when effort isn’t enough.

And for a Christian leader, that realization can become an invitation, not to work harder, but to depend more deeply on God.

Leadership was never meant to be carried in our own strength.

Sometimes growth looks less like becoming more self-reliant and more like learning to say:

God, I need You in this.

That’s the kind of leadership we want to cultivate at Vantage, leaders who integrate their faith into the real decisions, pressures, and responsibilities of the marketplace.
