Appalachian Feline Foster Network is a nonprofit organization focused on improving feline welfare by providing compassionate care, promoting responsible pet ownership, and addressing overpopulation through education and community-driven programs We focus on Trap Neuter Return, networking with other rescue groups to find placement for animals and are dedicated to working with areas on their local ordinances on cats.

Our Director had been fostering these two kittens and it is with a heavy heart we announce that the torti passed away last night.

Please remember those who do rescue are human. Our Director works a full time job and woke up to a heavy loss and had to put on a smile and go to work. This is the reality for many in rescue. Many groups in our area are all volunteer based. Please be kind, we want to help them all, but the reality is we can’t.

Have you ever wanted to foster but afraid you don’t have enough room? Well these 3 week old kittens are comfortably set up in a bathtub! They are small and unable to escape and this is all the room they need right now. If you are interested in fostering and don’t have much space, right now there are LOTS of kittens in need.
