Hey Everybody! Due to the threat of severe weather tomorrow, Men’s Day at the Park has been canceled and rescheduled for Saturday July 18th from 10am-2pm at Ritter Park (Shelter #2).

We will have our fish fry and fellowship in a few weeks! Let’s keep the excitement and momentum up! As you know, the park gets booked up rather quickly so this was the next available date. See you in July!

We asked and you showed up and out! Thank you so much for everyone who helped to make the Free Prostate Cancer Screening Day a success. The goal was to get 25 men screened in the 3hr time frame and we had 11 men get screened in our first hour, with two hours left to go! God be showing out! We had an evening of fellowship with music, food, and laughs! There were resources provided for men and families from multiple organizations and I know they will be blessed with this incredible information.

Next Up: Saturday at Ritter Park to close out our celebration of Men’s Health Month. We invite you and your family to come join us for more food, fun, and fellowship!

This Thursday! Free Prostate Cancer Screening!

This Thursday! Our goal is to get 25 men tested! We need you to help us spread the word. This is a non-invasive blood test to screen and detect your risk for prostate cancer. Be informed and proactive about your health. Testing is free! I know we can get 25 Black men between the ages of 40-70 to come out! Will you help me? I’m thanking you in advance for your support!

Free food is also provided. There will be other health organizations there providing free resources and every man who gets tested will receive a $10 gift card!

See you at 10am by the Ritter Park Water Fountain. We will meet at the top of each hour by the fountain! 10am, 11am, 12pm, and 1pm. You can also find us walking/running the park trail. Let’s walk for men’s health month and heart health!

Happening this Saturday! Meet us at the Ritter Park water fountain for a stroll around the park! Walking is the best form of exercise for your heart! See you at 10am! Bring water, a towel, fan or whatever else you need to stay cool.
