Picnic with the Pops is more than a concert—it’s a community tradition!!Gather your family and friends, bring a picnic, and enjoy live symphonic music in beautiful Barboursville Parks & Recreation’s Barboursville Park Amphitheater.

🪑 Bring a Chair or Blanket
General admission guests should bring lawn chairs or blankets. Reserved seating and table package guests will have seating provided.

🧺 Pack a Picnic
Bring your favorite food, snacks, and beverages to enjoy during the event.

⏰ Arrive Early
Gates open at 6:00 PM, and Stolen Moments Jazz Quartet kicks off the evening with a special pre-concert performance from 6:15–7:15 PM. Come early, claim your spot, and enjoy live jazz before the main event.

Tickets will be available at the gate, but walk-up tickets cost $5 more than advance purchases.

A big thank you to the organizers of the WV Hot Dog Festival⁠ for inviting our string quartet to be part of this wonderful community celebration. We love bringing live music into the heart of downtown Huntington and connecting with families, friends, and visitors enjoying all the festivities.

One of the greatest joys of what we do at the Huntington Symphony Orchestra is watching a child pick up an instrument for the very first time.

We’re honored to partner with the Huntington Children’s Museum and Music & Arts for this wonderful event, giving young people the chance to explore, learn, and experience music firsthand. You never know when a simple moment with a violin, trumpet, or cello might inspire the next generation of musicians.

That same spirit continues this Saturday at American Soundtrack Spectacular in Barboursville Parks & Recreation’s Barboursville Park Ampitheater. We believe live orchestral music should be accessible to families, which is why children 12 and under are admitted free with an adult ticket, youth ages 13–18 receive half-price admission, and groups of 20 or more save 15%.

Whether your child is trying an instrument for the first time or hearing a full orchestra perform music from Star Wars, Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, Titanic, and more, we’re excited to help create memories that can last a lifetime.

Thanks to the Huntington Symphony Orchestra and Music & Arts, guests will have the opportunity to explore a variety of musical instruments at Try This Fest: Taste, Tunes & Tech on Wednesday, June 10 from 2 pm to 4 pm at Huntington Children’s Museum.

Thanks to the support of Smoothie King and Ferrell & Ferrell, admission is free for children and members. Adult admission is $10 per person.

After her appearance with the Huntington Symphony last summer, audiences kept asking us to bring Christa Navy back. This Saturday, we’re doing just that!

Join Christa and the Huntington Symphony Orchestra for American Soundtrack Spectacular, an evening of great music, community, and celebration under the summer sky.
