Celebrating the 30th year of preserving trees on the streets of Houston, Trees for Houston strongly maintains its efforts on providing large scale tree planting as the city continues to grow. Trees provide important functions, such as controlling storm water runoff, providing energy conserving shade, and filtering pollutants from our air. Also, a new objective of the organization involves providing educational opportunities for members and volunteers of Trees for Houston. Donors and charities in Houston are greatly committed to the organization’s mission. However, more people in Houston need to become aware of the possibilities available to contribute to this organization. We hope this page will provide enough accurate information for viewers to participate in the process of saving Houston's trees. Trees for Houston offer many ways to become involved and maintain active stability within the organization:
• Volunteer
• Become a member
• Sponsor a tree planting
• Emerge as a donor
• Join support programs, educational programs for the youth and adults, and tribute programs
• Attend fundraising events & the Arbor Day Awards
