Today we recognize Juneteenth, a day that commemorates freedom, resilience, and the enduring strength of the community.

As we honor this important day in our nation's history, we also acknowledge the generations of individuals and families whose stories, struggles, and triumphs continue to shape our communities.

At Bo's Place, we believe that healing happens when people feel seen, heard, and supported. We remain committed to providing a welcoming space where children, families, and adults can find connection, hope, and healing through grief.

As Father’s Day approaches on the calendar, we are reminded that special events and milestones often amplify a student’s sense of loss. While grief doesn’t follow a schedule, your support can.

Help ensure your school community is prepared by downloading a resource from National Center for School Crisis and Bereavement: "Father’s Day May Not Be Easy for Some Grieving Students." Use this guide to identify at-risk students early and share it with your fellow educators, school mental health staff, and administrators.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the lives of those who are no longer with us and whose absence is felt deeply every day.

For many, holidays can bring both reflection and renewed grief. Please know you do not have to carry that grief alone.

At Bo's Place, we hold space for remembrance, connection, and healing. Today, we honor every story, every memory, and every heart learning to move forward while carrying love and loss together.

Wishing you moments of peace, comfort, and support this Memorial Day. 💜
