On April 25th 2026, volunteers from Bellaire Masonic Lodge joined members of SP Waltrip Lodge at the Houston Children's Charity Mattress Distribution event.

Together, 98 mattresses were distributed to children in need across the greater Houston area—many receiving a bed of their own for the very first time.

We are grateful for the opportunity to support such a meaningful cause and look forward to continuing our involvement in future distributions.

🇺🇸 Memorial Day 2026

We will come together on Memorial Day at the VA Cemetery to honor and pay our respects to the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

👔 Dress Code: Dark pants, light blue shirt, white apron only

Following the ceremony, hamburgers will be served at Aldine Lodge No. 151.

After lunch, you are invited to remain for a short but meaningful program in the Lodge room, presented by Brother Garza and Brother Al Pinto. Representatives from each branch of the armed forces will be honored.

Last year, we had an outstanding turnout of over 40 Brothers from various lodges across multiple districts. With 47 lodges in our district, imagine the impact we could make if just a couple of Brothers from each lodge joined us this year.

Let us take a few hours out of our day to stand in unity, represent our Brotherhood, and show our gratitude to our veterans and fallen heroes.

Houston Children's Charity’s (HCC) Mattress Distribution Volunteer – “A Better Night’s Sleep”

Now would be a good time to register for the Mattress Distribution with Houston Children's Charity.

The event is Saturday the 25th, arrive around 8:30 for registration and orientation. You need to register before Saturday so the HCC can properly do a background check. We will be working around children and HCC has to protect themselves and the kids.

It's incredibly gratifying to give out a hundred or more mattresses to kids who may have never had their own mattress to sleep on. The kids are excited and the parents are very grateful.
