⭐️ POLL Little Sister Spotlight: Today, we celebrate a very special POLL little sister, Lainey Landry, whose joy and spirit will forever be part of our community. On her 10th birthday, we remember the light she brought to these fields and to everyone around her. Lainey grew up at POLL, spending her days cheering on her big brothers, Daniel and Luke, from the time she was just three years old. With two brothers on different teams, these fields quickly became her home away from home. When she wasn’t cheering from the stands, often in her brothers’ team gear or a cheer uniform, Lainey could be found running around with friends, playing on the playground, or bouncing between games with her joyful energy. She loved being part of it all, and in the stands you could often find her passing the time in her own sweet way, giving herself mini makeovers as the games went on. Luke remembers one of his birthdays at POLL when he got on base and could hear Lainey cheering louder than anyone else. “She was cheering so loud for me,” he said, a moment that perfectly captures the kind of little sister she was. Her mom, Natalie, remembers the little things that made Lainey so happy at POLL-Kona Ice, popcorn, and a big dill pickle- the simple joys that filled her days. And of course, her signature freckles, always popping after long days in the sun. Her dad, Ben, smiles thinking about the way she took care of everyone in her own special way, making sure he was loaded up with chili cheeseburgers and always coming back with a big bag of Airheads to share. Daniel remembers a special moment from when he was on the White Sox at Rice Stadium, where Lainey’s voice seemed to echo as she playfully quoted Rookie of the Year, making everyone around her laugh. “He was so tickled that his little sister was doing that in front of everyone,” Natalie shared. continued below ⬇️
