🎉Congratulations to Dr. Zaida F. O'Connor, PhD, DTM for receiving the prestigious award as Distinguished Toastmaster! 🏅
Dr. Zaida is a dedicated member of Toastmasters International since 2013, and is the Chairperson of Global Gavel Youth Clubs. Her leadership roles include serving as Club President and Area & Division Director. She participates in District conferences and local events, including the Youth Leadership Project.
Dr. Zaida is currently retired after 40 years of service in education and computer science. She worked as an administrator for colleges and universities, and taught Computer Science & Office Tech courses at community colleges. She is also an author of academic research & books. Dr. Zaida has a Doctorate Degree in Computer Science and Bachelor of Arts in Information Technology and Visual Communication.
In her spare time, she loves boogie boarding, Zumba, camping, cooking, and spending time with her family, friends, and dogs. Her favorite quote is "People don’t care how much you know until you show how much you care."
