Congrats to our Chicago Marathon Southern Texas runners! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

You’ve trained, fundraised, and put in the miles to help create a better future for everyone living with type 1 diabetes.

For Ashley, a medical student from Austin, this race was deeply personal. After her brother was recently diagnosed with T1D, she chose to run with Breakthrough T1D with a powerful purpose:

“to make a better world for my brother and my future patients.”

Ashley, your miles represent hope, determination, and a commitment to a future with better treatments and, ultimately, a cure. We are so proud of you and all of our Southern Texas runners who run for something bigger than themselves.
