ALA Unit 164 Katy thanks you for all your help Angela King; and thank you to Daniel Rodriguez from the Office of Commissioner Lesley Briones, Precinct 4 who gave this marvellous speech; the Mayor of Katy, Dusty Thiel and his Proclamation; State Representative Mike Schofield and his stirring comments; all the First Responders who attended our ceremony with their vehicles; Adriane Veals from the Texas Department of Public Safety who gloriously sang our National Anthem; Eriife Okuboyejo from Scout Troop 567 who led us in the Pledge and other members of his troop who worked on their Civics badge; Philly Flats, Dutch Bros and Ice Boxx who helped to keep us cool; and our veterans and the community of Katy. It was indeed a marvellous event in remembrance of a terrible day in our history.

The District 22 President and the District 22 Vice President visited Unit 472 Harrisburg for their monthly meeting this evening. What an amazing unit! It was wonderful to hear about all the events and programs they are involved in and to watch them interact as friends and colleagues. They are a boon to their veterans and their community and we can't wait to see what they'll do next.
Keep on keeping on Unit 472, you are awesome!
