It's time for kräftskiva, Dallas! 🦞🇸🇪 Only 8 spots left, so grab yours before they're gone!

Join us on Saturday, October 10 for an evening of crayfish boiled from scratch the traditional Swedish way, seasonal sides, snapsvisor, and great company.

The kräftskiva is one of Sweden's most beloved late-summer traditions, filled with paper hats, festive lanterns, singing and plenty of skål. It's also a fantastic opportunity to connect with the Swedish-American business community in North Texas.

Whether you're a Swede living in DFW, part of a company with Nordic ties, or simply curious about Swedish culture, we'd love to celebrate with you.

We're pleased to announce our next speaker for the SACC Summit: Vicki Paavilainen! 🎤

Vicki is Chief Operating Officer and Director of Accounting Services at SkyBridge Resource Center, where she supports primarily Swedish-owned companies operating and expanding in the U.S. and leads a team of consultants with expertise across a wide range of business areas. She is also CFO of SRC's sister company, Law Offices A.E. Gustafsson.

She is a Certified Public Accountant with extensive experience in accounting, operations and business strategy, Vicki brings a practical perspective on the challenges of doing business across Sweden and the U.S. She has previously served on the board of SACC Chicago and has spoken on the cultural differences and business dynamics between the two countries. 🇸🇪🇺🇸

We are proud to introduce the theme of SACC Summit 2026: Humanity in the Age of AI.

It is a theme more relevant than ever before. As AI, automation and digital networks reshape every industry, the most important question is no longer what we can build, but who we are building it for.

This year marks 250 years of American innovation and 243 years of Swedish-American friendship. The Summit brings these two traditions together. Sweden has deep strengths in social responsibility, equality, sustainability and wellbeing, and the United States leads in innovation, entrepreneurship and scale.

Together, we offer a new model for how technology, leadership and humanity can thrive side by side. Growth without human grounding puts wellbeing, trust and long-term resilience at risk.

Organizations that optimize only for speed and output can lose touch with their people, their purpose and the communities they serve. At SACC Summit 2026, leaders from both sides of the Atlantic will explore how to build human-centered systems where innovation, productivity and wellbeing reinforce each other instead of competing.

The future of business cant be built on performance alone. It has to be both high-performing and deeply human.

This beloved little tradition is how many Swedes welcome the start of fall: with a warm, freshly baked kanelbulle. Cinnamon buns are a big part of Swedish culture and everyday traditions like fika, and most Swedes enjoy them regularly, especially today!

Have you ever wanted to bake your own, or wondered how they differ from American cinnamon rolls? (Hint: they're a bit less sweet, often twisted or knotted, and topped with pearl sugar instead of frosting.)

A rooftop. Real data. And a conversation on what it actually takes to raise in the U.S. 🇸🇪🤝🇺🇸

Last night, SACC Texas hosted Eric Engineer from S3 Ventures and Henrik Johansson for an evening on the state of U.S. venture and the Nordic opportunity within it.

Q1 2026 set a new record: $267B invested, 2x the prior peak. Texas is rising fast, #3 in the nation with $5.8B raised in just the first quarter. For Nordic founders, the message was clear: the appetite is there, but walking into a U.S. VC meeting ready is what separates those who close from those who don't.
