The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce Texas invites you to an exclusive preview of upcoming IKEA product launches, hosted at IKEA Frisco.

Attendees will get a first look at new products through a guided presentation and hands-on displays, along with insight into the design and development behind them. The event includes a buffet lunch, networking with fellow SACC and SWEA members and business professionals, and a raffle drawing to close out the program.

This event is free and open to both members and non-members. Registration is required to help us plan accordingly.

We're doing this one differently. Before you show up, you'll conduct a short AI interview about what you're working on, what you're stuck on, and what you bring to the table.
SACC Dallas will then use that to actually connect you with people worth your time — could be a mentor, a potential client, someone solving the exact problem you're dealing with right now, or just someone who thinks about your industry differently.

A rooftop. Real data. And a conversation on what it actually takes to raise in the U.S. 🇸🇪🤝🇺🇸

Last night, SACC Texas hosted Eric Engineer from S3 Ventures and Henrik Johansson for an evening on the state of U.S. venture and the Nordic opportunity within it.

Q1 2026 set a new record: $267B invested, 2x the prior peak. Texas is rising fast, #3 in the nation with $5.8B raised in just the first quarter. For Nordic founders, the message was clear: the appetite is there, but walking into a U.S. VC meeting ready is what separates those who close from those who don't.

🚨 Exciting news! This event has been renewed — and Eric will now be joined by Henrik Johansson on stage.

What started as a fireside with one of Texas's top VCs just leveled up. On Tuesday, June 2, the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce Texas (SACC TX) is hosting Eric Engineer, General Partner at S3 Ventures, and Henrik Johansson for a conversation on the State of Venture in the U.S. and the Nordics — and what that means for founders making the transatlantic leap.

Reminder: Exclusive First Look at Bergman in Dallas - May 20th

Dear SACC Texas member,
We wanted to send a friendly reminder about our upcoming exclusive first-look presentation of Bergman in Dallas, a new documentary exploring the life, legacy, and artistic influence of legendary filmmaker Ingmar Bergman during his 1981 visit to Dallas.

Hosted at the historic U.S. Post Office & Courthouse in downtown Dallas will offer a rare opportunity this evening to glimpse the film and engage directly with the creative team behind the project.

Presented in partnership with the Honorary Consulate of Sweden Dallas, the Consulate General of Sweden in Houston, and the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce Texas (SACC TX), the May 20 gathering also serves as a fundraising event supporting the production of the documentary.
Guests will also enjoy a reception with light bites and beverages, including Valhalla Aquavit and Island Getaway Rum.
