Meet Erica! 👋

Erica Hernandez is our Southwest Houston Family Resource Coordinator, and she has been such a great addition to our team!

Much of Erica’s day is spent thoughtfully connecting with caseworkers and families across our city, helping meet tangible needs while creating a safe space for stories to be shared. With five years of experience serving vulnerable populations in the nonprofit sector, she brings a deep passion for mental health, advocacy, and seeing children and families find healing.

She’s also currently pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling so she can continue coming alongside individuals pursuing healing and freedom.

And when she’s not on the phone with caseworkers or families? There’s a good chance she’s baking something delicious for her small business Good Shepherd Bakery, reading, serving at her church, or catching up on Dancing with the Stars.

Erica, we’re so grateful you’re part of this team and for the care you bring to families throughout Houston! 💙
