Over 22 teams brought the heat at our 7th Annual ‘Are You Smarter Than a Breakthrough Student?’ held at on Thursday, October 16.
The competition was intense as our student team and Team Quark brought home the win 🏆!
30 years of Breakthrough’s impact was honored through powerful stories from Executive Director, Sarah Guerrero, who shared that Breakthrough’s legacy is built on a dual mission—guiding students to and through college while cultivating the next generation of educators, and Teaching Fellow, Jennifer Rodriguez, whose story of perseverance, mentorship, and one unforgettable peanut-butter-and-jelly lesson captured the joy and growth that define the Breakthrough experience.
More than $200,000 were raised in support of our mission.
