For six Lamar Floral Design students, their classroom lessons are blooming into real-world experience through internships with Village Greenery & Flowers.

Under the guidance of owner Kim Gorski and her brother, award-winning Master Designer Darrell Gorski, the students are developing their skills while creating arrangements that can be seen at Hungry’s in Rice Village.

Thank you Village Greenery & Flowers for investing your time and expertise in our students and help prepare them for opportunities beyond the classroom.

Twenty years later, the Class of 2006 is back at Lamar!

What a joy to welcome classmates back to campus for a look at how Lamar has grown and changed while sharing stories from their own days.

Reunions remind us that while the years may pass, the friendships, memories, and connection to our Lamar remain strong.

Happy Reunion, Class of 2006! ❤️💙
