Fur A Pawsitive Future

Fur A Pawsitive Future We focus on TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) in the Northside Village (77009) area of Houston, Texas. We aim to continue our work independently as a non-profit.

We also rescue stray, friendly, abandoned cats and whenever possible we help community cats with medical needs. We focus on Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) in the Northside Village area of Houston, zip code 77009. Over the course of 2 years we have spayed and neutered over 450 cats through sponsored spay/neuter programs. We also seek to care for sick and injured feral cats. We also fundraise to try and transport healthy, friendly street cats out of the Houston area and on to good homes.

Not even 24 hours with this nugget that we rescued last evening from a dumpster with his teen mom.

He had fluid around his lungs when we took him to urgent care due to his breathing trouble.

We wished the outcome could have been different 😢💔

We cannot emphasize enough to please spay and neuter your pets and community cats.

Visit our website for spay and neuter and TNR resources in the Houston area.

Rest easy kiddo, you were loved 💔😻

We found Amelia hunting for scraps near a taco truck in our neighborhood. We could tell something was wrong with her eyes so we threw down a trap and she trapped quick.

She was loaded with fleas and a vet visit the next day discovered that one eye was already lost. Her uterus was described as "rough" 😥 she's also missing all her teeth, except one.

She's spayed and vaccinated and has all the scars of a rough outdoor life, but it's all good stuff for her going forward.

Support our rescue and TNR mission, links in our bio.

Thanks to all our wonderful supporters and donors who help us do the legwork 😻🙏🏻

We'll work hard to find Amelia a forever home and if you're moved by her story, send us a dm. Share with your networks.

We can also use help with temporary fostering or even some longer term ones for cases like Amelia 😻
