Please share--Niema Jones, age 12 is missing. She was last seen on 8/23/26 leaving the 6300 Blk of Cobalt St in Houston. Niema is about 5’3 ft tall, weighing 90 lbs. with brown eyes and black hair. After More Than Six Years, Kristen Galvan’s Family Finally Has Answers

Kristen Galvan was just 15 years old when she disappeared from her grandmother’s home in Spring on January 2, 2020. Less than a month later, on January 29, 2020, unidentified human remains were discovered in Missouri City.

For years, those remains could not be identified. Kristen’s family continued searching, hoping she would one day come home.

Through advances in DNA testing, authorities have now confirmed the remains belonged to Kristen. Her death has been ruled a homicide, and the investigation remains active.

In a statement shared by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, Kristen’s family thanked everyone who searched, shared her story, and supported them throughout the years. They are now asking the public to continue spreading awareness in hopes that someone with information will come forward and help bring those responsible to justice.

Anyone with information about Kristen Galvan’s death is urged to contact the Texas Attorney General’s Cold Case and Missing Persons Unit or local law enforcement.

Our thoughts are with Kristen’s family and loved ones as they continue to seek justice.

AMBER Alert | 5-year-old Edward Hall was last seen Sunday afternoon on Ryans Rock Court near Halle Ray Drive in the Katy area. He was wearing black pants, a black Elmo T-shirt, and no shoes. Fort Bend deputies are asking the public's help in locating him.

Justice for three Houston child sexual abuse survivors.

To protect these survivors, the DA’s Office will not release their names or identities.

Damien Deon Blevins, former pastor of Deep Water Ministries in Spring, Texas, victimized three teenagers. In 2010, Blevins targeted a child who was among the church’s earliest members. Between May 2019 and May 2023, he sexually abused two more children: one teen he assaulted in the church, the second survivor testified Blevins sexually assaulted and threatened her at his home. Prosecutors presented a compelling case, outlining how the former pastor gained access to his teenaged victims through his ministry.

The jury sentenced Blevins to 35 years in prison without the possibility of parole.

This is the first time the HCDAO has had the evidence to try a defendant for Continuous Trafficking of a Child since the law went into effect in 2011.

Justice for these three children, now adults, who bravely shared their stories and asked for help.
